Unwanted Journey Story Group

A fundamentally different approach to healing the causes of unwanted sexual behavior. We will use use material specifically written by Jay Stringer to do story work around the issues presented in Unwanted and the Journey Course. Over the course of the 20 weeks, you’ll write an outline of your life story, write one story of blessing, two stories of harm, a story of abuse, and a detailed arousal template, all of which will be shared and processed within the group. The meticulous nature of digging into these challenging aspects of your story will bring up many of the driving forces behind your unwanted sexual behavior. These forces can be best loved on in a group setting, minimizing the shame and amplifying the grace that God provides.
